Photos and Friends
This week at Ohio
Northern I had a really cool experience. I was in Natural History class a
couple semesters ago, on Tuesdays we would have lecture and on Thursdays we
went out to some nature reserve around the area. In which I found out ONU has a
nature reserve they call the Tidd Oakes farm that the biology department uses. I
thought it was such a cool place as well as a relaxing hike. It is about a mile
long and a half mile wide and to hike all the way to the back is some good
exercise.
Connor Gilmore and I
decided for our photojournalism class that it would be cool to get some nature
shots. As we made the mile hike back we got some cool shots that I wanted to
share. A couple of close ups and a couple of landscape shots. Either way it was
a beautiful day and got a lot of good pictures.
It
always makes me step back and look at ONU as a whole and how amazing of a place
it is. I might not get these opportunities at other places. The staff, faculty,
and students are all so friendly and want to help each other in any way
possible. Well that is all I have to say about that, I honestly don’t want to
graduate with all the fun I am having and great people I am meeting.
This is my first time to know about The Tidd Oakes farm, and I am very interesting into go there! I like taking shots of nature, so it would be a great place to go. I also like to take a shot of sunset, so the farm would be the great place to take the perfect shot. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know ONU had a nature reserve! I feel like I'm always surprised by all of the resources available to us as Ohio Northern students. It's pretty cool that you had the opportunity to take a Natural History class and use what you learned for photojournalism. It seems like those two things are unrelated. Your pictures look great!
