Photography Update
For those of you that
know me you might know that I am starting to learn and do photography. I have
even written a blog earlier this semester about some of the photos that I have
taken. I thought why not update you all on some more of my photos. Recently I
have taken some of places at ONU and Ada. As well as some at my hometown and my
parent’s lake house. A lot of cool pictures, or at least to me they look cool.
I had woken up early one
day and decided to go to Ada early and take some photos instead of sleeping in
longer. I know not the most college student decision, but I was happy with my
decision in the end. I took some of the Train Depot in the middle of town which
turned out alright from a rookie stand point. The ones I really enjoyed were
the ones of ONU’s soccer field and American flag.
This past weekend I took
some of my parents’ house back in Kalida which I got two really nice ones. The
reasons I like both is the composition of the photos as well as the technique to
lay on the ground and capture a photo from a different perspective. I was also
at my parent’s lake house this past weekend and took some photos up there. My
favorites have to be some of the close ups with a blurry background. I also
really enjoyed having a good buddy of mine up there who let
me take some cool
shots of him.
Photography I have
learned to be my way to show of creativity. I look at things differently now
and think “How can I turn this shot into something no one has seen before”? I
also kind of find the hikes and picture taking relaxing. That’s all I have to
say about that, which one of my pictures do you like the best?
I really enjoy seeing your journey documented through a blog as well as your photography. I think there is a lot that goes into photography and general shooting that most people don't even think about. I think most people assume it's like just taking a screenshot with your eyes, and then wonder why it didn't turn out so hot.
ReplyDeleteNice pics! I've never had the money for a good camera (other than my phone), but that's only half the battle. You seem to have a great eye for moments that not only capture your experience, but also a sense of beauty and wonder. Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteWow, these are awesome pictures. I really enjoy watching your journey through photography. I wish that I could take picture like that! I love the picture of the dog. It is so cute!
