Who I Follow on Social Media

While doing some media research for my Media Analysis class I came across some statistics about social media. One of the statistics showed that social media platforms like Snapchat and YouTube are still growing at a rapid rate. While looking at these statistics it made me think about what I actually follow on both these social media platforms.

First, on Instagram I really enjoy looking at photographs from Brendan North. He is a young photographer trying to get his name and pictures out to the world and I honestly think he does a great job. He mainly uses black and white photos which is cool, but he also said in a video that he gets his inspiration from poetry. He wants people to see his photography as a poem which is really inspiring especially to me with learning to be a photographer.

Second, on YouTube I watch three different YouTubers, all for different reasons. YouTuber number one is PewDiePie because I find him really funny and it is cool to see how he has the most subscribers on YouTube.

YouTuber number two is KYRSpeedy because I love video games and he has a crew that play video games together and make awesome videos.

YouTuber number three is First We Feast because it is such a cool concept with interviewing people while heating hotter and hotter wings, it is a bonus that every single interviews is done better than talk show interviews in my mind.
